Your Lindy experience
starts hereBeginners 4 monthsHere we start from zero. We build our fundamentals of rhythm, body movement and partner dancing in general. We cover things like dancing side-by-side, moving with partner in closed and open, swinging out and circling around.
This level is suitable for everyone, even without any prior dance experience.

0.5 - 1 yearsImprovers 4 months
In this course, we enlarge our swing dance vocabulary with the essential variations you may encounter on the social dance floor. We also learn more about technical aspects of own body movement and partner connection.
At the end of the course the focus shifts towards musicality and styling.

~ 1 - 2.5 yearsIntermediate approx. 1 year
At Intermediate level we explore essential challenging combinations, rhythms and shapes and solidify a good chore technique as our basic and integrate footwork variations. Now fast music is not only for kicks but also for fast triples.
We learn about the different layers in swing music and how to make the most of the holy triangle: us, our partner and the music.
Intermediate level lasts one year.

~ 2.5 - 4 yearsIntermediate-Advanced approx. 1 - 1.5 years
At this level you will keep refining your musical awareness, partner connection, your quality of movement and your style. We expect students to be pro-active to set themselves goals and put in extra effort to practise.
Intermediate-Advanced level lasts one year or more.

The training program for advanced groups aims at making your rhythm sharp, your technique bullet-proof, give you versatile challenges with intriguing moves and variations, and help you find your weaknesses and ways to improve them.
You may expect engaging challenges, like developing your own sequences, giving peer feedback and filming your own dancing.
